This blog is used to keep people informed about my classroom box turtle Henry. During his semi-hibernation state I will post his currect weight and condition via bi-weekly checks.
Henry has gained an ounce during his time at home. He seems to be becoming more active again, active enough to take him back to his bigger tank in our classroom!

I guess I still have a lot to learn about being a turtle owner! Henry is back on heat and hopefully he will get back to regular activities around Valentines day. He will be monitored at home to make sure he is ready to return to my classroom and the kids that love to see him.

I will use this blog to keep all of Henry's fans updated!
I made some recent modifications to his tank since he refused to hibernate in his large box.
1- a 3com homeconnect camera that was given to us when we were audience members on Tech TV's The Screen Savers. It was a good camera back then, and is a fantastic low light camera now!
2- Frozen water bottles will be added to his tank to keep the temperature where it should be.
3- This blog to keep people updated on the shelled one.
